It was a cold Tuesday evening, and the car smelled of wet grass and football boots.
Hussein sat in the back seat, still in his training kit, staring out of the window. Halfway home he asked me something I couldn't answer:
“Dad, was I better today than last week?”
I had watched every minute of that session. I had seen him sprint, lose the ball, win it back, and run until his cheeks turned red. But better? Faster? Smarter in his positioning? I had no idea. All I had were memories, and memories are generous on good days and harsh on bad ones.
That night, after he fell asleep, I opened my laptop.
I am an engineer. My work has always been about turning signals into something people can trust: in biomedical technology, in electronics, in software. Sitting at the kitchen table, I realised a football pitch is full of signals too. Every run, every turn, every sprint leaves a trace. Nobody was reading it for kids like Hussein.
So I started. A small board, a GPS module, a lot of tangled wires. The first recording put him in the middle of a car park instead of on the pitch. The second one lost him for half the session. By the tenth, his runs appeared on the screen exactly where I had watched them happen, and for the first time I could show him:
“Look, here is where you were fastest. Here is where you kept coming back to help your team.”
His eyes lit up. That was the moment PlayerTrack360 was really born.
Along the way I made a few promises, and they still shape everything we build:
- No child should need expensive equipment to begin. That's why you can record with the phone you already have, while our own tracker is tested for the players who want more.
- The work nobody sees deserves to be seen. The runs nobody notices, tracking back, finding the right position: all your movement now appears on the pitch in front of you, so you know your effort was not wasted.
- The only person you compete with is yourself. Your records and trends show your own progress, never a ranking against other children.
- Numbers should help a player talk, not just look. That's why an AI Coach explains them in your own language, without ever knowing where you played.
- Your data belongs to you. You decide who sees it, it's kept in the EU, and when the numbers are only estimates, we say so.
Hussein still asks questions in the car. They've just changed:

During the test period, every player can use PlayerTrack360 for free: GPS maps, heatmaps, personal records, trends and the AI Coach. No ads, and we never sell your data. But running it is not free, and the costs grow with every new player.

Speed zones that fit you
Sprint, high-speed running and running are measured against thresholds for your age at first, then against your own best speed. Speed is averaged over one second, so a real sprint counts.
Record with your phone
No tracker? Record a training session with the phone or tablet you carry. On Android the app keeps recording with the screen locked. On iPhone and iPad, keep the page open, or record with a GPS recorder app and import the file. Phone results are estimates, labelled Phone.
Sync from the device you have
Transfer sessions over Bluetooth from Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android, the Android test app, or the Bluefy browser on iPhone.
Players & coaches together
Coaches see only the players linked to their own group, and a Manager oversees the whole club.
Your tracker, locked to you
Link your tracker once by scanning its QR sticker. It then opens only for you, your coach and the Manager. Lost it? One tap, and nobody can open it.
Built with privacy in mind
Your sessions belong to your account. Only your own coach can review them in full. You decide what each follower sees, and your location is never shared with the AI.
An AI Coach for football, training and your progress
Numbers describe what happened in a session. The AI Coach helps you understand what they mean and what to learn next. It uses your performance summaries and personal goals without receiving your raw GPS coordinates.
Ask about rules, positions and tactics, how to get faster safely, warm-ups and recovery, confidence after mistakes, or which statistics really show progress. Answers adapt to players, coaches and managers, in English, Swedish, Arabic or French.
AI provides educational guidance and estimates. It does not replace a real coach or medical advice, and it does not guarantee better performance.

The app opens PlayerTrack360 like the website, keeps recording with your phone when the screen is locked, and syncs the tracker over Bluetooth. It is being tested on Google Play before everyone can download it. Google needs at least 12 testers who keep the app for 14 days.

Play with the PlayerTrack360 tracker, which records GPS and movement on its own, or record with the phone you carry.

Tracker: link it once by scanning its QR sticker, then sync each session over Bluetooth in a supported browser or the Android app. Phone: the session is saved on the phone and sent to your private account when the phone is online. GPS file (iPhone and iPad): import it on Session Analysis.

Bluetooth tracker sync works in Chrome or Edge on computers and Android, in the Android test app, and in the Bluefy browser on iPhone. iPhone Safari cannot directly connect using Web Bluetooth, so use Bluefy on iPhone.

Frequently asked questions
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. Watch the short videos on this page or on the sign-in screen, then open the demo under Try it first: a made-up team you can look around as a player, coach, scout, agent or club manager. The demo is read-only, and the AI Coach is not available in it.
Is PlayerTrack360 free?
Yes. During the test period every feature is free for every player, with no ads. Running the AI Coach and the servers costs money, so voluntary donations by Swish or PayPal help keep it free. Donations give no extra features.
Do I need the tracker to start?
No. You can create an account, explore the website, use the AI Coach and record sessions with your phone right away. The PlayerTrack360 tracker records more accurately; it is currently a prototype used by test groups.
Which devices can I use?
Any modern web browser for the website. Recording with your phone works on phones and tablets, not on computers. Tracker sync over Bluetooth works in Chrome or Edge on computers and Android, in the Android test app, and on iPhone in the Bluefy browser.
How accurate is it?
The tracker uses consumer satellite positioning, which is typically accurate to a few metres. Distance, speed and positions are estimates, and we are still validating accuracy and reliability. Estimated pitch positions are labelled as estimates. Phone GPS is less accurate than the tracker: phone sessions are labelled Phone and show a recording quality.
Why do you ask for my birth year?
Your birth year sets speed zones that fit your age, for example when a run counts as a sprint, and lets us apply the extra protection for children under 13. Sex is optional and only refines the speed zones. We do not need your height or weight.
Is my data private?
Your sessions belong to your account. Only the coach of your group can review them in full, and your location is never sent to the AI. Scouts, agents and other players see only what you switch on for them, after you accept them.
Who can follow me?
Scouts, agents and other players can ask to follow you. Nothing is shared until you accept and switch on what each of them may see: performance, football profile or maps. Under 18, maps are protected: followers see how you moved on the pitch, not where, and only a day later. Children under 13 cannot be followed. You see who looked at your data, and one switch pauses sharing with everyone.
Is it suitable for children?
It is designed with young players in mind: players are compared only with their own history, and the AI Coach gives age-appropriate, safety-first advice without diagnoses, diets or supplements. Children should use it together with a parent or coach.
What if I lose my tracker?
In My tracker, enter your password and tap Mark as lost. Nobody can then open it or download from it. When you find it, tap I found it. To hand a tracker to a teammate, sync it first, then use Give to another player: the first time your teammate connects it, it erases the recordings you left on it.

The Support page answers common questions about signing in, linking, scanning and syncing. If something still does not work, contact us and attach screenshots or photos of the problem.
